Adoption Info

Adoption Process

Step 1

Read the bio for the pet you want to adopt to ensure you meet the criteria and are a good match. Bio consists of known history and information based on current assessments.

Step 2

Call the shelter to see if the pet is still available. Talk to the staff to see if you will be a good match.

Step 3

Submit the online application (from the link below) or fill one out in person at the shelter.

Step 4

Staff will review the application, and if you are approved, you may be able to adopt the same day.

We are first come, first served; potential adopters physically at the shelter with an approved application will have the first right of refusal.
