Reclaim a Pet

Reclaiming a Pet from CASA

1)  Call or email the shelter about your pet. The shelter can assist in pet reclaim seven days a week. However, Monday and Tuesday are closed to the public. Stray reclaiming is still possible in most cases by calling the shelter at any hour and leaving a callback number for the staff.

2)  Prepare proof of ownership. Proof includes an ID matching the current microchip registration, veterinary records, recent date-stamped photos, or an Island County dog license.

3)   Arrive at the shelter prepared with photo ID and Cash or Card payment for Reclaim/Impound fees. No checks.

Reclaim/Impound Fees
